Philips is a name you can trust to always deliver a high quality product at great value and their range of batteries is no different! With over 50 years experience, you could say that Philips know a thing or two when it comes to batteries. They even invented the first NiMH Rechargeable Battery!  The new range of Philips Batteries are available in two different formats; Philips Longlife Zinc Carbon Batteries and Philips Powerlife Alkaline Batteries (more power). There's not a lot you can really say about batteries, other than we all require them at some point. Philips aim to offer you a premium battery at great value, whilst also keeping it simple ensuring that you select the right size ....we've all brought the wrong ones at some point!

What's the difference between Zinc Carbon and Alkaline Batteries? If we think of a battery being a group of cells, the Alkaline Battery has a greater energy density and therefore is a longer lasting battery, compared to the lower cost Zinc Carbon Battery.
